Ben and I spent another quiet Christmas together. I thought last year would be our last with just the two of us because we'd be spending it with my family this year, but with the move, we weren't able to make it back to Utah. So SAD! But, we enjoyed it anyway!
Christmas Eve:
We were invited over to a ward member's house along with a couple other people. We had an appetizer/finger food dinner, we visited, and we watched all the kids act out the Christmas story from the Bible. I also saw the best 5-year-old reader I've ever encountered! She read perfectly How the Grinch Stole Christmas (read, not recited from memory) and told us that she had read a chapter book before and that all the other kindergarteners in her class read 3-page books (and it was obvious she thought it was kind of silly and boring). Wow. It was quite amazing! We had a fun night getting to know some members of our ward. When Ben and I got home, we had some mint Oreo cookies and watched a Christmas movie.
Our peaceful Christmas day started with a wonderful Sacrament meeting with our ward's musical Christmas program. Then we ate a late breakfast,

opened a few gifts, listened to Christmas music, and had a small dinner. After eating a late breakfast and snacking on stocking treats all day, we weren't able to eat everything we had planned!
Yep, this is it! Haha! (Well, we did have room for some of this yummy homemade no-bake cherry cheesecake!)
We were also able to relax and talk to family on the phone. We had a really good Christmas, especially with the surprise that Santa came to our house too,
bringing us each a Wal-mart gift card! We love it and are so thankful! :) We hope you all had a good Christmas!!
Parting shots of what to get your cat for Christmas:
