It doesn't matter where you go, what you do, or how much you have. It's who you have beside you.

When we were at Oquirrh Lake last week, Ben chose not to do something:
Yeah. He decided that instead of leaving his shirt on or putting on sunscreen, he would just be on the water for about 20 minutes at a time and he would be just fine! However, once we got out there on our floats, he was so comfortable that we ended being out there for about an hour or so! He did put a little bit on his shoulders and chest, but his sternum and tummy were SO burned (sorry, no pics) and so were the fronts of his non-sunscreened legs!!
His legs and tummy just kept getting more and more red (and of course it's hard to capture the color on camera, but I tried). The best part of these pictures are the red spots on his feet where the sun penetrated the little holes in the sandals he was wearing, and the leg hair plastered to his leg from all the aloe vera he smeared on! Poor guy. He was in a lot of pain for about 4 or 5 days. Now he's just about peeled it all off. I think he learned his lesson!

Yuck. That gives me the chills. I hate sunburns.
Next time you get a bad sunburn get a spray called Dermoplast. It works miracles. You can get it in the first aid dept of walmart or a drug store.
Ouch. I make the same mistake. Why don't we ever learn!! Hopefully he is feeling better.
You must have a death wish! Haven't you had enough pain, lately? Masochistic, much?! Sheesh!
